The United Nations Association of the Greater Chicago Area:

UNA-Chicago is a leading chapter of the United Nations Association of USA, a nonpartisan, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the advancement of the UN cause in United Sates.

UNA-Chicago endeavors to increase public awareness of the value and work of the United Nations and its specialized Agencies and Committees, and to build public support for the fundamental concepts of the United Nations: multilateralism and international cooperation.

UNA-Chicago sponsors a variety of activities to improve Chicagoans understanding of UN, encourage U.S. leadership and commitment to the UN. The Chicago Chapter also serves as a resource for the citizens of the Greater Chicago area by presenting a variety of educational and public programs on the broad agenda of critical global issues addressed by the United Nations system.

The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization that supports the work of the United Nations and encourages active civic participation in the most important social and economic issues facing the world today. As the nation's largest grassroots foreign policy organization and the leading center of policy research on the U.N. and global issues, UNA-USA offers Americans the opportunity to connect with issues confronted by the U.N.-from global health and human rights to the spread of democracy, equitable development and international justice. Through its work, UNA-USA educates Americans about the work of the United Nations, and encourages public support for strong U.S. leadership in the United Nations.
