Japan External Trade OrganizationJETRO is a nonprofit, Japanese government-supported organization dedicated to promoting mutually beneficial trade and economic relationships between Japan and other nations. JETRO headquarters can be found in Tokyo, Japan with 36 local offices in Japan and 77 overseas offices in 58 countries. The U.S. JETRO offices help American companies develop exports to Japan through free consulting services, trade shows, trade missions and information on the Japanese market, and assists companies in developing and expanding their businesses in Japan. These offices are strategically placed throughout the U.S. to better serve American companies by region.
