International Dance Celebration Includes Performances, Workshops, Dance Party
Celebrate Chicago’s international dance heritage with a range of concert and social dances from around the world, at a special three-day dance event presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Chicago Office of Tourism as part of Chicago’s Top 10 Winter Delights 2007.

Friday, February 9

Saturday, February 10
11 am – 3 pm INTERNATIONAL DANCE WORKSHOPS: Dancing Around the World with Latin Street Dancing, Amaniyea Payne, Paul Collins and Shamila Khetarpal (Chicago Cultural Center, various locations)
2 pm PERFORMANCE: Dancing Over Space, Time and Big Water (Claudia Cassidy Theater)
3 – 5 pm GLOBAL DANCE PARTY: Featuring Funkadesi (Preston Bradley Hall)
