Illinois Society for International Development (ISID)The Illinois Society for International Development (ISID) promotes awareness of international development issues in Illinois and encourages networking and discussion. ISID is one of 60 chapters of the Society for International Development (SID), a global network supporting “people-centered sustainable development,” with over 3,000 members in 125 countries. ISID’s objectives are:
ISID organizes events monthly, the second Tuesday of every month, focusing on international development issues. Events may include speakers, panel discussions, social events, planning meetings and networking opportunities.
