Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce mission is to improve and expand business opportunities and to educate others on the history, culture, and customs of the Chinese American community. Also, to increase revenue streams for local businesses by making Chinatown a major destination point for visitors to the Midwest, State of Illinois and City of Chicago.

The Strategic Initiatives of Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce focuses on:
1) Promotion and marketing of Chinatown
2) Community beautification
3) Business and development assistance to Chamber members which include:

  • tour program
  • pest exclusion program
  • Chinese dinner social program
  • exclusive taxi service program
  • landscape entrances along expressway ramps
  • educational workshops
  • advocacy for community-wide and business issues
  • special events/promotional activities
  • shuttle service from downtown and McCormick Place
