CPAs for the Public Interest:
Established in 1976, CPAs for the Public Interest (CPAsPI) is an Illinois nonprofit tax exempt organization and is funded through generous support from individuals, accounting firms, corporations, and foundations. CPAsPI is the community service arm of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), founded in 1903, is the fourth largest state CPA society in the nation with over 22,000 CPA and Affiliate members. It is the only professional organization that represents the CPA designation in Illinois. The Illinois CPA Society provides members with access to cutting edge educational programs and a wide array of informational resources, services, and benefits targeted specifically for CPAs and affiliated professionals.
