Globalization

isn’t something that happens

only in foreign countries.

It’s here in Chicago:

in the neighborhoods,

workplaces, schools and downtown.

Last summer 16 students in the Global Journalism seminar

at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University,

chronicled some of the many manifestations of globalization

in and around Chicago.
