The Chicago International Film Festival is proud to partner with the Alliance Française de Chicago in welcoming award-winning director Emir Kusturica.
Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres and winner of two Palmes D'or at the Cannes Film Festival, the director of Underground and When Father Was Away on Business will come and talk with Time Out Chicago film editor Hank Sartin
about his creative process on one of his rare visits to the United States.
Emir Kusturica will also be playing with his band, The No Smoking Orchestra, on Saturday and Sunday July 10 and 11 at 8 p.m. at the Copernicus Theater.
This talk will be followed by a Vin d'Honneur.
